- The young elven maiden notices the other limping cautiously into Sylvanestri. She hastily scurries into nearby brush, her mount following obediantly. Together they observe him. Also being new to the city; Ratana feels a slight remorse for the other, seeing as though she was hiding from him. Slowly, she stands, revealing herself. Her horse nickers, disturbing the silence. The elven maiden steps forward and a sweet voice addresses him in elvish: I am Ratana. I am seeking a mage who can teach me the powers of the Elementals, magic I once knew well but have forgotten. How I forgot will not be spoken. She looks around warily before continuing: I extend my hand in friendship to you, considering we're both newcomers and two heads are better than one. She offers her hand, awaiting his response whether it be good or bad. -
