 a personal art project? i take things so literally all i can think to do is to hold the camera out at arms length and take pictures of your face, lol! that ought to look pretty weird. actually i used to do that and it does look weird.

ok, lets see...personal study....hmmmm....uh, what the hell are you doing in a garden, lol? how about lifting off the cover of that thing that covers the case where the water collects for the toilet and taking pictures of the dirt? bet nobody else would do that! fairly personal.

no? ok, how about your oven, watcha got hiding in there? or you know, along side of it in the cracks, that's always interesting. so are refrigerator shots. everybody likes food. that is very personal. so is dirty laundry. nothing like the hamper for a good personal study.

dust bunnies. you could make a statement with that! forget those flowers and go for the dust bunnies!

(i think i have a thing for dirt.)

alright then, how about the cracked cup with the lipstick mark on it, the vase by the sink with the dying flowers, the stain in the mattress, the burn in the carpet, that beloved picture with the corner torn off that you will not throw away. something marked by hands, worn by time, something meaningful to you. catch it in the right light and let it's essence come forth.
