Wed Aug 8, 2001 (6:30): Message problems

An unknown problem occurred yesterday affecting several forums. We are not yet sure of the cause. If your forum is experiencing errors you may want to restore from your latest backup. If you have not backed up your forum recently, you may wish to do so, then attempt a "Forum rebuild". If this fails, you might have to clear all messages. We apologize for the problem. If anyone finds out how to reproduce the error starting from a working message database, please let us know -- it may help us find and fix it.
Various possible problems have been addressed in the latest version of our software, but unfortunately it is not ready to be placed online yet.
