okay, now i'm, like, totally bubbly and all squiggly with excitement! look at me! i have goosechills! (seriously, from my clawed fingers down to the tip of my tail, i'm getting chills just thinking about all this!) i can't contain how excited i am!
AAAAAAAAUGH!
*pant, pant, pant* okay, i think i'm okay.
AUGH! NO I'M NOT! AAAAAAAUGH!
okay, now i'm better. (but i still got goosechills!)
okay, storm, this is mega-awesome. i mean, Totally. Mega. Awesome! i can't believe you got D2 already! i mean, you've been saying "Aw, I want it, I want it, but now you actually have it!" Soon as you get it set up at home, i suggest playing the single player (the non-online) until you get the feel for the game and the gist of the story and quests. fiddle around with the character classes a bit until you have an idea of what they're about and can pick (with any degree of accuracy whatsoever) your fav. my fav is the sorceress, or "sorc" in battle.net lingo.
then there's the pally (paladin), zon (amazon), barb (barbarian), and necro (necromancer). tons of lingo, but i'll fill you in when we play!
rock on! then we can game online together and you can meet my other clan members. Phoenix Night is small right now, but we will grow in time! and then you can decide if joining the clan is what you want.
and OF COURSE you can make a site and then join the web ring! are you kidding? the more pages a webring is linked to, the better! this will be just so friggin' awesome!
and oi, medeis, that web page you were talking about earlier, if it's fitting, you are more than welcome to join the web ring, too! the more people that have it, the wider its influence will spread, and the more people we will educate about the true gargoyle! not this scary, cold, threatening presence atop watchtowers and along old stone walls; or glorified rain gutters. no! they are SO much more...
and medeis, thanks for the compliments! i'm very proud of the web ring i made last night. i mean, even though it looks like a thousand others out there, i'm still proud because i made it! :0) and you're right: when i set my mind on something, i tackle it until it's finished. actually, what i do with the web pages is set a task for myself every night and stick to it until it's finished. really, the design and code are simple. i'm not fluent in HTML, but i'm above average, and i have reference books that i use. tonight i'll probably tackle the web ring home page and guidelines, that sort of thing.
but before i start babbling about all the plans i have for the Phoenix Night homepage and web ring, i'd better go. the hatchling is getting antsy. :0) look at that! he's actually climbing my chair! lol
*kisses*
