 good advice!!! yeah, i got a good one for like $100 3 years ago when i got the old computer because this is a thunderstorm area and the electricity goes out all the time. i never run the computer during the storms. no wipe outs yet *crosses fingers* other than that i dont know what else to do.

bummer when the storms last for hours though.
