Vicious, hellion from depths of unknown reach, arisen upon fateful day. A revenge upon those, they must pay. Sapphires gleaming upon pelt of unknown pigmentation. Light from far off lunar orb, yet no light will give comfort to the prey. Nails a digging into terra, slashing, ripping at umbra.. To reach the scent of blood that intrigues predator so. Deep in slumber, no suspicion is arisen.. another equid, perhaps a deer.. no worry. Yet soon the battle cry of devil's spawn, shatters gained silence within the woods. o'er yonder hill another wakes.. a dream, no doubt. A silly nightmare, that had come to he in deep slumber. Yet eerie lighting of moon and stars, give no comfort. the same scenario? No, he was safe. Resting within reaches of large harem. protected by dam.. Yet ever so comes nearer the feeling of doubt, of death. chilling sensation spreading over body of singular figure. Once more that stench...Once more that scream.. Such panicked soul there never was.. Yet no sound.. No stirring within confines of harem. Just the dragging.. of a new found victim./.

./. And at next dawning the disappearence.. the trail of blood. The unknown yet fearful present of last nights dweller. soon gone, yet the prints of hooves... The marks of battle upon sodden terra. umbra broken clear as to mark the trail of fight. Yet no more...than a few pools of crimson liquid. Condensed crystals forming within air, as to hide the fierce glare of solar orb. Darkness.. for just that moment. A sudden realization, A sweeping of fear. Is it he? The demon...The spawn of the devil himself.. But after all these years impossible.. did they not prove him dead, only a decade ago? Yet he strikes.. now their young. And yet he seems so much more vicious.. Savage aura of domain, they had but rested in.. seemed cursed place. No longer would they stay.. they could not fight he from the darkest depths.. only wonder, only watch. As he strikes, and strikes again. Yet is not there one who could stop this madness?./. In the waning and faded moonlight that casts upon the dark forest below, a carriage, pulled by two magnificant black horses, travels upon an ancient path, one of many secrets and journeys, tails of old times before...the horses trodden softly, the rhythem slow and almost endless. You sit inside, awaiting your stop; mysterious shadows stretch onto the path, trees loom above, their branches lingering outward.
Reflections of lightning impear as thunder rolls out and dies softly. Your eyes cast upward to the sky, brilliant with a sea of stars to be covered by a blanket of storm-struck clouds. The faint jingle of harnesses, hoofbeats and the wind fall into a rhythmic song, never dying, never fading. The smell is musty, and a slight tenseness remains through the air, but yet no warning nor any clues were given away, so silent and still the night was. In a sudden fury a screetching cry of a dragon hissed into the night, echoing through the forest, loud and clear. The sound gave chills up your spine, the fear at the thought. The horses stood still and rigid, daring not move. They lurched forward, the driver shouting commands to ease the panic, yet the carriage raced upon the road, lightning lighting up the sky in an illusion. Then it was dead calm and the carriage came to a stop.
