Subject: Neo fight

I attended a dog show in Grand Rapids Michigan this past weekend. Nov. 6th, 2004. I show Springer Spaniels. The hotel I stayed at Motel 6, had several Neo's there.
Some very irresponsible owners left two young children in the hotel ALONE with two males. A fight between the two male Neo's occured, which I witnessed. Most of the hotel turned out to watch! It was horrific. The children ran screaming for help. At first no one would help. Who wants to attempt to break up a fight between two 100 plus pound dogs that arent yours!
Three woman that show Newfoundlands did finally step in and after about 5 minutes managed to sepreate the two male Neos. They were covered in blood!
The hotel manager called the police as well as animal control. Not only does this reflect badley on dog show people but does untold damage to your Neo breed.
Shame on the parents that were just down right negligent!
