Hi Jackie,
Hooch loves children. Our kids are grown but he always wants to be with the neighbor kids. He hasn't been around small children on a regular basis so he might not realize how big he is with them. He has never been agressive or tried to bite anyone just barks loud and backs up when strangers come by. I have to put him in the other room when we have company because he won't quit barking if he can see them. He is usually fine with women and barks at men. He got scared from the fireworks and ran away on the 4th of July. Two men tried to catch him for me and he has not been the same since. He gets used to new men if they are around a lot and then is fine. I live in California, North of Sacramento. Please feel free to email me dmcdeb@hotmail.com
