Pud is now really confident. He trots over to me as soon as I unlatch the gate! So, today I tried him with a headcollar. He is now used to its smell and let me put it on him. He blinked, confused and shook his head, but accepted it quite well. He let me give him a cuddle. I pulled out a lead rope and clipped it to his headcollar. He automatically pulled away. I knew that if force is applied to a horse, the horse will resist, to I came towards him and loosened it. He reared a little but calmed down after a while. And soon he was letting me lead him around the paddock.
