Author: Mr. John Knightly [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 04:46:03 04/29/01 Sun The young man in his mid-thirtys strides in, his soft brown hair rumpled from a weary sleep. Settling upon a red velvet chair he glances about, his dim brown eyes catching sight of Miss Wentworth. Smiling gently he stands and bows, before settling down again. "Good to see you again. Though you do look mighty vexed. My I pry as to see what has bothered you?" He once again begins to fiddle with his hands, out of boredome? His gentle childlike attention in disturbed once again as he needlessly plays with his large hand. Oh how many times his mother has tried to stop this is uncountable. Having been so lost in her thoughts, the young woman had not even noticed him enter. Lips curve into a small smile and she nods politely in return to the bow. "It is a pleasure to see you again also, Mr. Knightly!" Pausing for a moment, she hesitates...contemplating on weither or not to tell him what the matter was. Then deciding against it, she shakes her head slowly, blond curls bouncing around her young face. "It is nothing, really. Just my quick tongue getting me in trouble again is all." Tone turning somewhat wry at the last sentence, she quickly purses her lips and scolds herself silently. Deciding to change the subject, she puts on a much brighter expression and speaks again, tone much lighter and somewhat care-free this time.
