You think the London audiences are 'dead' - you should see Joe at the Symphony Hall in Birmingham. I've just seen him there for the third time and every time the audience frustrates me (and Joe - he even drops hints to help the crowd to lighten up).It is a 'posh' venue and the crowd can never decide whether to behave like a rock concert audience or like a classical music crowd - even when a song ends its like everyone is waiting for someone else to clap first before they all join in. Its great for hearing every note but where is the atmosphere? Come on Birmingham wake up!!
