At the Irving Plaza gig last night a group of us got into a discussion about covers of Joe Jackson songs. He mentions a Tori Amos cover of one song, and I have an Anthrax cover of Got the Time. What others are out there? Surely someone's compiled this on a web site somewhere....

the band i play in cover "Got the Time". We play heavy rock bordering on metal. Superb song, although i love JJ so i'm biased. Sadly the audiences have usually only heard the Anthrax version, which is a great shame. I'm trying to get the rest of the band to cover It's Different for Girls but frustratingly they're having none of it. Again, a shame, great songs...great memories...great artist.
