USSR Nuke thinking was reputed to consider shielding a luxury--rather than a necessity. Not only is a portable Russian Nuke of that era shining like a beacon, to more-modern detectors--it'll be killing its new owner softly.

Something bad *could* still happen. But whether it's hidden in some apartment on this continent or being examined by "religious" tyrants trying to reverse-engineer it, this is probably a weapon that is already nuking its handlers. Such is the curse which follows inadequately shielded fissionables. RKBA! Regards, all.
