A religious icon (of the Political Correctness faith; the original owners of all things for which traditional undergrad Western Civ gives credit to others. No archaeological or biological evidence of their existence is available--for those so "Mean-spirited�" as to consider such things important. Some academic lectured on these Winged Ones as though they were generally known and officially recognized in the Victim Community.

I threw-in the 'Republican' slap because it was that sort of thread. It's easy to stand firm when it will make no difference and therefore honk no one off who might really make things difficult later. It's easy to be the brave, perpetual-minority party in the legislature; the "Loyal Opposition." Rather than being d**ned-if-you-do; d**ned-if-you-don't--you're absolved if you don't; absolved if you can't. Neither of these immunities work, if you suddenly become the majority party. That was the story of the tenure of "Senate" "Majority" "leader" (to use 3 terms loosely) BEND LOTTS. Any time an exchange of opinions on a Board ...evolves into a micturation-competition in which kitchen-sinks become the missiles of choice--if I'm there, you may see some reference to the "Senate" "Republicans" in the craven conduct of their deservedly-brief role as a majority party. I may even throw-in the lyrics to their fight-song, if I haven't already. RKBA! Regards, all.
