My story is really dumb, so I'll keep it short. It was either 98 or 99, but it was my first time in Hot Topic. I saw a Sailor Moon S comic, and soon I found myself pawing over all the other stuff I found there. I picked up Johnny, because, well, that was my brother's name, and he had the honor of being forced into dragging me along with him for a shopping session. But I picked up issue four, mainly because I thought Nny's boots were just the coolest. ^_^ (I have a bit of a boot fetish, perhaps stemming from the fact that my mother threw away my favorite pair of large black boots when I was smaller. They were very similar to Sephiroth's [although this was pre-FF7], so when THAT hero-worship began, I never forgave her. O_o) Anyways, I showed him it, but he already knew what it was, the meanie-head. Rather disappointed by his profound lack of surprise or joy, I decided to buy it myself. Not only was it funny, I very much liked the art style and could identify with Nny, something pretty much EVERYONE else says. Needless to say, though, I didn't find another comic of it until a year and a half later, sadly, but it was at that time that the floodgates opened and I became a bit of a fantatic. Yay.

Now that I have bored you out of your minds (although if you actually made it through all that, you must be pretty bored anyway), thank you for reading. :) Yay. [Can you tell I REALLY don't want to study for finals? I'm going to do SO bad tomorrow...>_< Flan.]
