You'd still have the brittleness problem though....and don't forget to keep the curve for a handle; or you could just sculpt the curvy part into a scythe and keep the straight part as a handle.

But my, that would all be so tedious. :)

It's my opinion that Nny can use fragile sporks as a weapon for the same reason a tornado can put straw through a tree trunk: you just have to put enough velocity behind it. The same should apply to pretty much anything that wouldn't shatter on contact.
