Go look at the transcripts of the Halloween chat with Jhonen at www.RevolutionSF.com (under the TV section now). In it Jhonen confirms that Nickelodeon picked up 40 (I think?) new episodes of Invader ZIM. I've given you this much, surely you can find the rest....I'm also lazy today.

My own completely uninformed assumption is that the Nick Standards people have ordered so many changes that production has been affected, and that this is why no new episodes have aired since then. This is probably wrong, but it keeps me hoping.

At any rate, the best information I'm aware of to date is that ZIM has not been cancelled, and there are new episodes in the making.
