Well it seems we all have our own Brother Turiyananda stories. I too had the good fortune to be around Turiyananda some earlier in my life. He was an original. Full of passion, emotion, love, devotion, great will and fortitude. While it was true that his Swiss accent made it hard sometimes to understand his speech he had such presence and magnetism that speech couldn't touch. For me, one experienced Turiyananda as much as listened to his words.

My wife and I were blessed to be married by Brother at Lake Shrine. It was the last time I ever saw him, but many people have posted such great stories on the various boards and they usually capture him very well.

I just remember thinking early on when much younger and first on the path after meeting him that "whatever he has, I definitely want."

Bill
