“Only a shadow remains of original.“

Does one look upon Yogananda’s modifications as a dilution, or a distillation? Your comment would indicate that in those changes, you perceive the former.

“But Paramhamsa Yogananda was well equipped to modify higher kriyas with full blessings of the Divine Inspiration of his Lineage including Babaji---in my humble opinion.”

Indeed, I am sure we agree that Yogananda’s mission was to remove obstacles to Kriya practice, to make it even more accessible to God-seeking souls. As you imply, Yogananda, and many others, believed this was in keeping with Babaji’s plan for spreading the Teaching to the West. If one assumes Yogananda was acting in accord with Babaji’s intent, would Babaji desire that Yogananda dilute the techniques, sacrifice the power of this Teaching, in order to make it more accessible? That I do not believe.

“Please have faith in your inner work and be assured of success with hard work/labors in your Kriya Sadhana.”

Fellow seeker, my efforts are insignificant. I have only that faith that God has provided through His Grace. I wish you success in all ways and things.
