Since writing the above post I came across a newspaper article which mentions the aeroplane incident. It is quoted at the anandainfo.com site and may be reached by clicking here.
According to the article Mr Flynn Jr admitted to hiring a plane and dropping the pamphlets over Ananda Village. He appears to have been acting on his own without the knowledge of his father.
There does not appear to be any evidence that Mr Flynn Jr is a member of SRF or that the incident is part of any SRF conspiracy against Ananda.
