Dear All:

According to the information presented in Hariharanandaji's website, Paramahansa Hariharananda is a disciple of Sri Yukteswar and received the first Kriya from him. Then he received second Kriya from Paramahansa Yogananda, and higher Kriyas from Bhupen Sanyal Mahasaya (a disciple of Lahiri Mahasaya) and Swami Satyananda, who was also a disciple of Sri Yukteswar.

I don't find anything that contradicts these statements, except that the Kriya technique taught by Hariharanandaji seems to be radically different from what Lahiri Mahasaya taught.

However, I've been to Sri Yukteswar's Ashram in Puri (where his physical body was buried), and also met one of the monks there (Swami Yogeswarananda) who told me that he's a disciple of Paramahansa Hariharananda. From this, and whatever I saw in the Ashram, it does make me conclude that Hariharanandaji is a disciple of Sri Yukteswar. I wouldn't really doubt that.

But regarding the techniques, I don't think I'm qualified to talk about them.

Best Wishes

-Mukund
