I have the 1951 edition. There are a few references to World Brotherhood Colonies. Significantly Yogananda always calls there SRF World Brotherhood Colonies. He seems to regard it as important that they come under SRF.

At the YoganandaRediscovered website it says:-

"Read Yogananda's original writings about colonies in Autobiography of a Yogi, before SRF removed them"

If you click that link it gives a long quote from the end of the 1946 version concerning World Brotherhood Colonies.

That passage is not in the 1951 edition. It is clear therefore that it was removed by Yogananda, and the suggestion made at Yogananda Rediscovered, that the passage was removed by SRF is false.

It appears that the people responsible for Yogananda Rediscovered wish to mislead people.
