Sir,
What is so diffucult to understand?
"Unless you begin with yourself, do what you will, you will never find the end of sorrow."
"Observer experiences, observation does not. Quiet consciousness is observation without any obstruction from the observer."
"No book is sacred. Only words printed on paper, like a newspaper. Sacred is the live-book of the self."
"Direct perception, not borrowed knowledge, frees you from authority.
Worship of authority destroys all understanding."
"The greatness of man is that none can save him. He has to save himself."
To me these sayings speak for themselves and if a person understands fine, if not, maybe in the future the realization of their meaning will spout forth. They are not to be understood on a mental level but realized. Sometimes if a person takes a saying and keeps it close the meaning becomes clear. Only you can do it.
