Subject: Re: Credible Scientific Evidence
In reply to: Dwayanu-22Apr02 's message, "Credible Scientific Evidence" on 07:15

What "credible scientist" has ever verified that God exists, or that Yogananda or any other has ever achieved any degree of Cosmic Consciousness? Has any scientist ever proven that Babaji really exists? Or has been alive for over a thousand years?"

This is irrelevant. Spiritual matters do not easily lend themselves to scientific examination. The existence of lost continents on the other hand is a matter which scientific methods are capable of investigating effectively.

Your other comments are also similarly irrelevant. Scientists have undoubtedly made many mistakes, and no doubt many current theories will be shown to be wrong one day. That is not a good reason for dismissing all scientific methodology and conclusion.

"So while scientific data and analysis has its place, but someone with an open mind will likely draw quite different conclusions than one with a closed mind."

You said it Joe. No one with an open mind would simply accept everything Paulsen claims when the evidence is so overwhelmingly against him.
