It is the first time that I am writing on the internet since it's inception as far as blogging goes, or these forum things, but I happened across this discussion, and I wish to say that having been a Kriyavan since the early 1970s under the direction of SRF, it is very disheartening to see such wastes of time in debating what needs no debate. No fault of the debaters, but certainly it is wrong and should cease. The poist that spoke of one going to practice, and not arguing is correct. I have known from early on of many opinions on Kriya, but the results I assure you are more to do with accuracy of practice, and devotion to your guruji's advice. Faith is not going to come through debate,and will confirm nothing for you. It will come as the evidence of things hoped for. So be devout.
