Even if there were evidence that the continents of Atlantis and Mu had sunk this would not support Paulsen's "memories" as he claims that these continents were destroyed by impacts with planetoids.

As for your claim that Paulsen's descriptions fits with the geological record, this is simply untrue. Show us some genuine research by credible scientists supporting the existence of a large island continent in the Atlantic destroyed by an impact 12,000 years ago. In fact the evidence disproves this claim to the satisfaction of every credible scientist who has studied the matter. The Atlantic Basin has been mapped very extensively, and no sunken continent has been discovered. The evidence suggests that the Atlantic has existed in more or less it's current form for millions of years, growing a few centimeters wider each year. For those who are interested here is a site of one scientist (though not a geologist) who believes he has found some evidence of a lost continent, though even he dismisses the idea that an island continent could have existed in the Atlantic.

As for the "available records" which you claim exist, what are these? There are no contemporary written records as writing did not exist at this time. Sources such as Plato actually date to about 9,000 to 10,000 years after the supposed existence of these continents.

"People can always pretend that what is not right in front of their faces does not exist, and sometimes even that."

You said it Pal!
