Subject: Shibendu's Kriya

During the past ten years that I have been seeking to learn the original kriya of Babaji. I tried SRF, Swami Harihananda's group, and Shibendu Lahiri, and finally Shailendra Sharma. Only Shailendra Sharma taught it to my satisfaction.

Although Shibendu Lahiri, the great grandson of Lahiri Mahasaya has a notebook containing the original kriyas, he did not teach them to me correctly, especially the higher ones. Shailendra Ji told me that there are certain things that are not in the notebook which the kriya guru is expected to know. When I demonstrated the kriyas I had learned from Shibendu Lahiri to Shailendra Ji, he pointed out major errors in all of the 1st kriyas and the higher kriyas. So after spending five years studying kriya with Shibendu Lahiri, I find myself at square one, relearning the correct way to do kriya."
