"My point wasn't that therefore everyone should initiate others into Kriya."

If everyone shouldn't initiate others into Kriya, then who should? Perhaps we should look to the Master's explicit and written instructions
in this regards instead of relying on our limited and egocentric understanding:

"Do not discuss, or divulge, any technique without first consulting with SRF headquarters, which reserves the sole right to give Kriya instruction, or
to appoint a qualified SRF member to give such instruction. If you know of someone who you should have the benefit of certain SRF techniques,
encourage him to become an SRF student, that he may receive the full benefits of study. If some difficulty stands in the way of his becoming a
member, advise him to write directly to Self-Realization Fellowship, explaining his situation and affirming his sincere desire to receive instruction in
specific SRF techniques."

SRF Praeceptum Lessons, 1938 copyright, K-7, pg. 3.

Or perhaps we should listen to the counsel Kriyananda gave while he was working in the SRF center department:

"It is our policy to permit only ordained ministers to give the Kriya Yoga initiation. Master said that after his passing he wanted only
***SRF renunciates*** to be ordained as ministers, and at that only after a minimun of seven years in one of our colonies..."

Donald Walters, 1957

Ok, so please explain to me why exactly Master's instruction in the Praecepta and Kriyanada's counsel regarding Master's wishes no longer apply.
Why is it now passe to follow the guidance of the Master? Perhaps he was a bit too "narrow minded" for you and your understanding of the organization
that he founded and its role in the spreading of his teachings?
