Bill,
looking for original stuff of PY I also contacted Amrita. For them, it seems to me, there are two Swamis (PY and Dhirananda) who have written lessons, books etc.
There is no real distinction in spiritual development or anything. One reason might be the copyright issues, which should be more hampering in PY case.
For them Shibendu Lahiri is the spiritual important person, maybe to avoid problems with SRF, maybe because they think a living person is required.
To sum it up, they are not really trying to publish pure PY writings in my eyes.
