Subject: the problems with the birmingham music scene...

... is that its full of talentless bad sonic youth and pixie clones who think its great that they sound like a bag of shit. its nice that they have their own little excessively clicky click, releasing 'limited' vinyl because no one will buy it and posing for increasingly pretentious photos for the 'art, dahling', and i mean, you get people into your gigs (other pretentious parentally funded twats), and by all means carry on - it highlights the true talent around - but at least come to the realisation of what it all is. And before the insults come in...
1. i have my own equipment, yes, which i purchased myself.
2. i'm in a band that i'm quite comfortable with thankyou
3. i'm extremely aware of the wanker angle to the birmingham scene having endured it for nigh on 5 years and am intensely grateful to have escaped the thurstonmoorecocksucking brigade that stagnates apathetically in snobs on a wednesday and the flapper on a friday - isn't it time to explore new things?
