News. Michiel Van der Sommen is to be our personal guest here in Ireland. Coverage of his beautiful work has appeared in quite a number of international publications and, "The Irish Times". The latest being the, "Irish Daily Star", 19 March 2003.
Michiels life-sized bronze statue of "Elvis at 13" Tupelo, Mississippi close to the little house where Elvis Presley was born is attracting increasingly large numbers of people to hold Elvis' hand causing it to take on a golden hue.
The statue was unveiled on Elvis' birthday 8th January, 2002. Thousands now arrive to have their photographs taken with Elvis. www.mvandersommen.com sculptor
