Killer Instinct has finally done it. At long last he became World Champion. A dangerous and tough battle in a triple threat match with Triple H and Midnight Felon. But with every triumph comes tragedy, as the Deranged Pro Wrestling is forced to close it’s doors. But in it’s ashes, a new fed will open. And KI and his girlfriend, Infidelity, are ready to reign as champions their as well. As for right now, Killer is heading to NHW to battle in the Doomsday Series. Coming off this big victory, look for KI and Infidelity to be in the winner’s circle once again. THREE WEEKS LATER.... Excerpt from the National Enquirer: Relationship Ruled No Contest Three weeks ago, on Deranged Pro Wrestling’s final pay-per-view show, Crimson Rain, wrestler Killer Instinct accomplished his childhood dreams and became the DPW Champion. Joining him in his victory celebration was multiple time Women’s Champion and KI’s manager/girlfriend, Infidelity. But now, according to friends, it looks like the party’s over. Kevin “Killer” Instinct and Lydia “Infidelity” Likeir have been dating since before they started their wrestling careers. They first met in Instinct’s club in New York City. It was said to be love at first sight. But their romance didn’t come without problems. Instinct was raised on the streets, while Likeir grew up in the rich section of the Hamptons. While Infidelity went to mall to go shopping, it was rumored that Killer sold drugs to make money. As the old saying goes, opposites attract. But apparently nothing lasts forever. After Crimson Rain, Killer Instinct has hired a new manager. Friends say that Instinct hasn’t made a business decision without Infidelity since they started dating. Our sources have also noted that Likeir has not been in KI’s club for over two weeks. This is odd because you can always find Infidelity dancing on the floor. The final straw in the relationship came as Killer Instinct has been going to parties and functions without Infidelity. When he was confronted at the premiere of the Rock’s movie, Mummy Returns, he angrily told the reporter, “No comment.” No one has been able to get in contact with Infidelity for weeks. It’s rumored that she has returned home to her parents. All signs point to a major breakup between the two. Relationships are hard to hold in the sport of wrestling. Most recently, the real life romance of Triple H and Chyna has ended because of their separate work loads. It is unsure if Lydia Likeir will continue to work in the wrestling business. But you can be sure, as Killer Instinct starts his career at NHW, Infidelity will not be at his side. |
| INT. KILLER INSTINCT’S OFFICE - DAY A copy of the National Enquirer is dumped in the garbage. Killer Instinct sits back in his chair. The man who just won the World Championship is not happy. The door opens as a funny looking small man enters the room. KILLER INSTINCT What the hell do you want? MINI-DON KING Killer, baby. As your manager, it’s my job to make you happy. So tell me what makes you happy? What did your old manager do to make you happy? KI gives King an evil stare. MINI-DON KING Yeah, right. She was your old manager. I can imagine what she did to make you happy. Hey, Killer, baby. What did happen between you two anyway? I mean, I read the Enquirer article... KILLER INSTINCT What a coincidence, so did I. According to the article, I have some friends with big mouths. King, I want to gather up the usual suspects on this one. I have a rat in my inner circle, a rat that needs his neck snapped. MINI-DON KING Forgive the ignorance, Killer, baby. But I’m the new guy around here, I don’t know how the usuals are. KILLER INSTINCT Zito, Gimp, Savage, Jay, Bob, Baldwin... MINI-DON KING Alec? KILLER INSTINCT No, Stephen. I got a list, I’ll give it to you later. MINI-DON KING Killer, baby. I want you to forget all that now. We have a big tournament at NHW’s Doomsday. It will make me.. er, us.. you millions. Hell, the copyrights on the Wheel idea alone will rake in the dough. KILLER INSTINCT You have to realize something. It isn’t about the cash... MINI-DON KING **GASP!!!** KILLER INSTINCT Okay, it a little bit about the cash, but it’s also about settling some old scores. And two of the main old scores come against Mr. Anderson and Shadojoker. Finally, I will have my shot against them. Balls out, one on one action. Anderson wants it to be us in the finals. Sounds good to me. I’ll keep up my end of the bargin by defeating every single loser in front of me, all he has to do is keep up his end of the bargin. And Shado, I’ve compared us the 80’s Hogan/Piper war. We are always butting head in promos, but we never fight mono-y-mono. But I have a feeling that it will all change at this tournament. Even though my World Title isn’t on line, my reputation is. So I hope you two aren’t going to make any long term plans, because if either of you face me before the finals, your NHW experience will be cut short. MINI-DON KING Killer, baby. Do you realize that you went from talking to just me to talking to your invisible opponents? KILLER INSTINCT Shut up. Take the list and go do what I said. Mini-Don King takes the list and walks out of the room. Once again alone, KI takes the rag magazine out of the trash and starts reading it again. All of a sudden, his phone rings. He picks it up. KILLER INSTINCT Hello... (angrier) Yeah... (angrier) YEAH!... (totally pissed off) Let’s get something straight, mother-fucker! If you hurt her at all, I’m going to kill you.. Hello? HELLO!?! ASSHOLE! KI throws the phone across the room. He flips over the desk and charges out of the room. END PRELUDE |
