I can quickly bring it up, see the latest post or response to a post because it's at the top of the page. I don't have to search all kinds of different "topics" for recent posts. But most of all I like the simple low-key graphics without the HUGE letters across the top of the page informing all of my co-workers that I'm at some kind of questionable website!
