That's a difficulty question depending on who's asking. For the Third World, they'd say "hey, let's go develop", and that would be very understandable, but if the developed West points the finger and says, "hey, we need to protect our environment", then inevitably, some sort of compromise needs to be arrived at. But, if you're asking mepersonally, I would say, it's a bit of a double-edged sword: I would say the developing world's priority should come first, and environmental protections can be looked at later. I think my answer's a bit too simplistic, but for now, let's leave it at that...
