Wayne Coe has the opportunity to rely to statements made by those known to have served in units and actions he wrote about, and their Independent remarks that (1) Wayne Coe was not there, and (2) Wayne Coe was not a member of the units he has claimed.

Your generous suggestion to stick my opinion where the sun don't shine, is noted. I really don't have an opinion on Wayne Coe, other than he is a gifted writer. Others may and have strongly suggested he is a liar and thief of valor and honor. It I s my preference not go post anyone's stories that are surrounded by such claims, therefore I have offered Wayne Coe the opportunity to reply to this accusations, where the sun does shine--in this public forum. By the way, I also offered to quietly remove his stories if he felt there was 'controversy' concerning them, and was met with no reply.

Over the years, you are the first ever to claim serving with Wayne Coe. If you were with him in the units he claimed, or witness to his claimed heroics, then you can easily contact his advisers and I am sure they will remember you and all can do a great big group hug ... Or Not.
