Don, I can't even find the proper words to say to you at the extremely powerful and brilliantly composed poem you
have presented to all of us tonight. It in itself is a flashback to all the things that we who are affected by PTSD have faced over the years and have tried to keep it hidden from others.

Your poem says it all and it truly tells it as it is for those who have been trapped in this our own personal "Groundhog Year" in which we keep reliving that year over & over each and every day.

I can only echo Jackie Kays words about your poem, especially when he says we fear it'll become our albastross for eternity and there will in reality never be a "Wakeup" my friend. Your graphic is a perfect
rendering indeed, but your poem to accompany it is a Masterpiece in and of itself too!!!! Thanks Don!!!!

(Many of us are still waiting for our own wakeup & freedom from those haunting flashbacks and dreams that linger on).
