WHAT???
I have been in fierce debates about whether hatching a
peahen's egg takes TWENTY SIX or TWENTY EIGHT days but
NEVER twenty one.
Actually I had a very small first egg from a puny pet that
pipped on day twenty four and a half and I helped the
peachick out on day twenty five. This was very unusual
but after being treated for straddle legs that peachick
has lived with me for 20 years.
