I bought RoyAl Blue at auction sale 20 years ago. He was
a very shy timid bird and had NEVER even thought of
attacking his keeper..that is until last week when I could
feel something hit the back of my thigh as I went out the
of the gate.
hmmmmm.....
mid life crisis?
Alzheimer's?
or hot weather brain damage?....

THAT is a change in behaviour after so so many years! Could be hot weather brain damage:) What temperature do you have there at the moment? We are experiencing a very unusual absolute heat wave here in the uk at the moment - a couple of days it has got up to 90 degrees. No one can sleep, no one can cope. It makes me smile as i used to live in Texas!

It is indeed hot here in Georgia, USA.
I put Peawee, the mean green spalding peahen in with old
RoyAl Blue.
Today when I was giving them some pieces of bread Peawee
did show him who was boss. He is NOT used to being bossed
bay a peahen.
