I have a couple of peacocks the male is about 3 yrs old. My question is about his behaviour. He keeps flying onto my head and if I'm bend over he will fly at my back and head it's getting to the point that I can't turn my back on him. He doesn't seem to be nasty and isn't pecking at my head but of course his claws to catch me and I find myself bleeding pretty bad. He seems to mainly do it to females. Could you explain this behaviour is it normal? Does it mean he will be nasty? Does he fancy me?? What can I do about it?
Any help would be appreciated.

Was this male handled a lot when he was younger?

It seems that a high percentage of peas raised more like a pet lose their fear of people and tend to be more aggressive. This is mostly males with this behavior.

Male Peacock???--ALL peacocks are male. the females are
peahens (I have one female that will make me bleed if I am
not very careful)

It is indeed my hand raised pets that will think that I am
their species and therefore they must try to dominate me
when I enter their territory.
The good news is that at least some of them settle down in
old age and just glare at me. Some of them learn that I
can grab them when they come after me so just the sight of
a couple hands ready to grab will make them back off.
