Hi, I am really interested in answers to your question as well - lets hope someone helps us out soon - although it is not too cold here yet. What is your New England weather like in the fall? Here in the UK (south) a typical night would be -1 or 2 (28 - 30 F) getting down to -7 (19) on a really cold night - it can go lower but not often. I have two freerange peacocks (both blues). They have a shelter which they use during the day if it is raining hard, but seem to want to roost outside at night what ever the conditions....i am just wondering wether to herd them into the shelter against their will when it gets wet and really cold??
