邱國耀先生因心臟病復發，經醫生搶救無效。於二零零一年四月三日
辭世，英年早逝，終年二十七歲。

二十七歲的他，過了一個非常燦爛但短暫
的快樂日子。郵票、金股、樓房、麻雀和馬兒曾經帶給他歡樂、財富和煩惱。
他對投資的道行非常高深莫測，他的貼士亦常帶給我們驚喜、讚嘆、冷汗和淚光！

在公司，他從不吝惜地將自己所認識的都全教給同事們。他亦是員工協會的成員，
非常熱心盡力為我們推動會務發展，全情投入，不遺餘力，深得我們的敬頌。
他爽朗豪邁的笑聲和他經典的金句：「閒談莫說人非，富貴與你常在」，
仍然深深藏在我們心中。

一個有上進心、有衝勁、有熱誠、有幽默感、有志氣和樂於助人的青年，
天妒英才而飽受折磨，心身極度疲累。早期的心臟病和近期的脊骨問題，
帶給他很大的打擊。公司並無全力協助，而且受部份同事冷嘲熱諷和其他人的不諒解，
年紀輕輕而受盡人情冷暖，結果選擇了消極的一步。順境，逆境，富貴，貧窮，
名利，一切都是南柯夢一場。

他抱恙期間努力編寫的《馬事蹤橫》。
