I take the filly out to my lunge pen and lead her to the rail. Instead of using a lunge whip or the flag I usually use, I decide to use the end of the lunge.
I start her at a walk first. She's a bit choppy I notice. She moves well, but she's also a little too fast.
For today I work on just getting her to lunge properly.

For her second lesson, we do much the same as the first, but I work on slowing her down.

For her third lesson we work a little longer. She's slowing down and becoming smoother.

For her fourth lesson a trot. Surprisingly she does very well. Her trot is fairly smooth, with a little bit of the bouncy pony trot.
