G'day Pom, and all my ADG Brothers,

Pom's doing a bloody great job with both sites, and I not only congratulate him on the results, but thank him for giving his time to re-unite me with the best blokes I've ever had the pleasure of living, laughing, working, crying, training and fighting along side.

There is no doubt that each of us bear scars of our experiences, some visible (and often they are the easy ones to deal with) but most invisible and because of that, we each try to exist and cope in the way we are best able. I guess that when a can of worms is opened, the lid is very difficult - nigh impossible - to replace and invariably, more than one worm escapes.

For me, both the ADG and ADG Gunner sites are part of that healing process.

I pledge my continual loyalty to each of you - the unspoken but inately understood loyalty and brotherhood that developed so many years ago; the brotherhood that was shown when my first daughter, Sonia, was born in Windsor NSW in February 1969 and the Richmod flight - almost to a man - rolled up to our flat in George Street, Windor armed with flowers, booties, baby singlets, chocolates - and several slabs of amber liquid to wet the babies head. And this was on the day when Maria arrived home from hospital.

That is brotherhood, you are my friends.
