Subject: *Lifts her head from grazing*
*Her crystal blue coat shivers slightly as a cool rush of air sweeps past her. She can sense that something is going to happen to her. She trots around, searching for a pond ro something that can reflect her image. She breaks into a gallop until she finds a large puddle under her favourite dozing tree. She gazes into it and gasps as her iron grey mane falls into the pond. Her once feathery white wings had turned a shimmering silver. She snorts in surprise but thinks back to her mothers words. You will get your powers once you are old enough. "Mother was right!" she gasps. Suddenly, a burst of shimmering silver starlight shoots out from her sparkled wings, sending small stars into a frenzy around her. She looks to the sky. Is is getting darker by the minute. But it doesn't become dark when the stars are out. She whickers joyfully. "I have discovered my power!" she whinnies happily. "I can make starlight!" She rears and soars into the air, the shimmering silver stars still following her. They shoot up into the evening sky and then disappear. The young mare swoops down and lands. She wonders :
How did i make my power of starlight appear?
How can i control how it comes and goes?
She shrugs and trots back to the pond that she had just been. Gazes into it again. Her wings were back to their soft angel-like state. Sighs with relief and grazes again.
