Devaki, who was smoldering with bordom, was trying to fix an energy gun. They were odd inventions and damned hard to fix. The batery packs on the hover pads were three fourths empty to begin with and soon wore out. That was another problem to be dealt with. Devaki glared at Rosko when the explosion went off but didn't much care and went back to her work. Unexpectedly the energy gun went off and singed the end of her tail. She yelped and jumped to her feet. Having her tail singed threw her off balance and she was soon on the ground again, but instead of trying to fix the gun, she hammered the shell off. **I could use the parts.** she muttered half to herself.
