Kit surveyed the tops of the base, no one was there, adn he was fairly certain no one would come up there anytime soon. He could probably do more good inside at this point in the battle. Slinging his rifle over his shoulder he drew his shotgun and started towards the base. Running towards a collapsed wall, a sharp pain lanced through his foot as he tripped over something. Sitting down, he examined his foot and found a sharpened piece of metal sticking right through it. Cursing, the one-eyed fox pulled it from his foot, wrapped the wound, and continued inside, now suffering from a slight limp.
