Nanjolo seemed unfazed by both this female, and her attack. Although he didn't show it, his stomach hurt, and his joints ached from the shock. He followed this sadistic cat, holding back the urge to put an arrow through her chest. Secretly her liked her attitude and style, but he would never admit it. Had he been following this cat a few years before, he would have had a hope of being accepted. Being a mercenary had forcefully changed this idea of hope. Hope to him now meant that he "hoped" his arrow would lodge in a deserving creature's chest. He followed the cat on.
