It was queer that there would be such a huge difference between the two in temperture, but Isis never thought much on the subject.

She examined her dripping body and noticed she still had fine scars of red in odd places, the most noticable in a horseshoe shape on her thigh. She sighed. The battle is over. There's no use dwelling on it.

Gently, she traced the mark with her silver talon. It would be visible for a few centuries, she knew. Isis drew back her claw, hearing her stomache rumble. But I can't hunt yet... She realized.
