Interesting place you've got going here. I was pretty interested after reading that this guy said he had been in the service. And the MP's. Well, I got a bit of information from the various posts and ran a check. There is no record found anywhere (I triple checked) that shows William A. Parks or anybody similar to that. I went through several variations, too. I also checked the other branches of service and found absolutely nothing. There were a total of 9 Parks in the LE related vocations of the various services but the first names were totally different, DOB's were much different and about half have just served in the past 10 years.

Just to be sure, I asked a buddy in CID to run a totally separate check for Army only. He could find absolutely nothing that showed Wm A Parks had been an MP.

I also checked records for the 70's as far as regular service, all vocations. Nothing showed up for William Parks.

Looks like you guys called it right.
