Yeah, Wayne, run that radar, dual antenna system in
theat 2000 Impala! Units are available on ebay, from
about $600 to $2,000 depending onthe unit and
condition! You need to get a video/audio link set up
, along with a Panasonic Police laptop (they're coffee
proof!) That will get that 2000 Impala looking real
official, not to mention "high tech!"

Me, now I'm a Ford man, "restoring" a 2001 Ford Police
Interceptor, with, of course, as you mentioned, dual
antenna Kustom radar unit, new , state of the art,
Panasonic electronics, audio/video/data(laptop)links
with antennae, Panasonic digital cellular and a full
electonics package; Whelen, Federal, Galls, Midland
800 Mhz radio, Midland
Multi-scan/multi-band/multi-frequency two way radio,
for inter-agency communications! Quite a
"restoration!" It's so much fun "restoring" a newer
police car beacuse all of the equipment is so readily
available, albeit, not for the feint at heart
monetarily, don't you agree? Best of luck with your
restoration! Regards,

Bill Parks

Gee Coward MF What would the Port Orange Police think of this? Gonna use it to maybe pull over some poor unsuspecting teenage boy? and make him " get out of his ticket"???
